Surya Namaskar C (Sun Salutation C)

“Surya Namaskar is a Moving Prayer”

-Chuck Miller

The sequence below is for Surya Namaskar C, which is normally practiced during the new moon. It is less intense than Surya A or B so it’s a good practice for beginners. Make sure that you are inhaling and exhaling through your nose. Breathing through the nose slowly and deeply helps calm the mind and allows for a meditative practice. Do each movement slowly and at your own abilities. And always take care of yourself.
